PRODUCERS – WEST COAST
Ästad Vingård
Ambitious venture west of Varberg in the province of Halland. Specialising in sparkling wines according to the traditional champagne method. In total eleven hectares of vineyards with solaris, frühburgunder and chardonnay among other grapes. They also run the Michelin-starred restaurang Äng in a spectacular setting.

Thora Vingård
On the Bjäre peninsula in province of Skåne, two French winemakers produce wines from eight hectares with more to come. Grape varieties include pinot noir, pinot meunier, chardonnay, gamay, chenin blanc and solaris. Their new winery is state-of-the-art and also comprises a popular restaurant with produce from local farms – a bold investment for the future.

Ljungbyholms Vingård
A newcomer on the Bjäre peninsula with large-scale ambitions in both quality and vineyard size. Today they have around two hectares of vines – but will soon expand on a farm with up to one hundred hectares on a perfect south slope. Most planted grape varieties are solaris, phönix, rondo, regent, johanniter and cabernet cortis

Vejby Vingård
Exciting and different vineyard on a typical southern Swedish quadrangular farm. Their biodynamic wines are made from red or orange grapes harvested around the farmhouse. Wines are often produced in multi-vintage style. Famous for their Georgian Marani wine cellar with qvevri vessels built in their old stables.

Arilds Vingård
With 34 hectares, this is the largest wine producer on the Kulla peninsula. Producing many different wines of all colours and high quality including pet nat and orange – overseen by a Californian winemaker in their new winery. Most important grapes varieties are solaris, pinot precocé, cabernet cortis. The premises also includes a large restaurant, hotel and glamping in the vineyard.

Kullabergs Vingård
One of Sweden’s most ambitious and bold wine ventures situated on the Kulla peninsula. Eighteen hectares planted with mostly solaris, souvignier gris, donauriesling, muscaris, pinot nova and cabernet cortis grapes. In their newly built winery, which also houses a wine bar, they can produce more than 100,000 bottles. Their range comprises white, red, orange, rosé and sparkling.

Lottenlund Estate
Elegant estate situated close to Helsingborg and the former royal castle of Sofiero. Eleven hectares on the estate and on Bjäre peninsula. Vineyards planted with solaris, muscaris, donauriesling, souvignier gris, cabernet cortis and pinot nova. Also producing vermouth, fruit distillate and gin.

Flyinge Vingård
Modern wine producer close to one of the Swedish national equestrian centres, Flyinge Kungsgård (Flying State demesne), outside the university city of Lund. Their vineyard is planted only with the solaris grape, from which they produce white, orange and sparkling wines.

Flädie Mat & Vingård
Elegant establishment west of Lund with restaurant, conference centre and event facilities. Their three hectares of vineyards close to the premises are planted mainly with solaris, phönix and rondo. Many awarded wines – white, red, rosé and sparkling.

Vingården i Klagshamn
One of Sweden’s earliest and most creative quality wine producers situated close to the coast south of Malmö. From their two hectares they produce a varied range of wines from the solaris grape. Often awarded in international competitions.

Hällåkra Vingård
Large former farm with seven hectares of organic vineyards on south-facing slopes – with more to come. They make natural wines in a variety of styles – white, red, sparkling and sweet. Main grapes are solaris and pinot noir. Attractive visiting centre.

Skepparps Vingård
Beautiful vineyards along the rolling green hills of Brösarp in the east of Skåne. Produces sparkling wines as well as whites and reds from solaris, rondo and cabernet cortis from a total of eleven hectares. Belongs to the Åkesson family, Sweden’s leading producer of apple cider and apple juice in the nearby village of Kivik.

Åhus vingård
Small but well-managed vineyard outside Åhus, home of the Absolut Vodka, run by 150 people who invested in vine rows. Producing white, red and sparkling wines from solaris, phönix, leon millot and rondo.

Gute Vingård
One of Sweden’s first larger-scale vineyards situated on the famous chalk-island of Gotland. With around four hectares along the western coastline, they produce red, white and rosé from solaris, phönix and rondo.

Långmyre Vineri
Ambitious wine-producing venture on the southern tip of Gotland surrounded by the Baltic Sea. The vines extend across five hectares of chalk ground south of Burgsvik, where the winery is situated. Produces red, white and rosé from Italian vines like fleurtai, soreli and merlot kanthus.
